What you will experience

Delhi or ‘Dehleez’, the doorway to India and the seat of many empires, has a past as glorious, varied and colourful as the nation it represents. So, we follow the Yamuna River, which has forever been a trusted companion of this ancient First City, on a journey that is filled with riveting tales of power, conquest, revenge, devotion, and love.

Starting from the first documented ruler of Delhi, Prithvi Raj Chauhan, to tracing the journey of Bhakti Movement through Sufism… from following the stylised form of Kathak from the Nawab Wajid Ali Shah’s court of Awadh to Tarana, a composition in Hindustani classical vocal music – and ending in Bollywood, this spectacular 1 hour production showcases the history and spirit of Delhi, through the medium of dance.

The performance is followed by an authentic Indian barbecue dinner at Angare, which presents Indian gastronomy in its purest form, as we try to create an environment that unifies all your five senses for that ultimate experience.
