Overview

Street art is a concept that is slowly but steadily developing in Delhi. Led by a storyteller and a photography expert this curated bohemian art tour will open up a fascinating slice of contemporary Delhi life. You will get the full measure of the city’s street art culture as you walk the talk in some of its most iconic spaces of art and graffiti, from the  Lodhi Art District, India’s first open air art district to the art village of Hauz Khaz.

You will explore the street art culture and enjoy an immersive evening in an art hub of Delhi. As an option, paint with an expert painter at a lakeview restaurant with beer and food

What you will experience

We will meet at the bustling market district and observe the graffiti amid the chaos of Delhi streets We will then move to secretive spot where artists freely express themselves on hidden walls as well as India’s first open air Street Art district. The next phase of the tour will be a leisurely walk at an art village called Hauz Khas where we’ll be visiting an art place famous for Madubani art works; we will also view some excellent collections of the famous designers while meandering through the tiny lanes in the village.

The tour will culminate at a relaxing rooftop terrace cafe with a lakeview. Over beer and pizzas we will ponder over the art we have enjoyed viewing on the walk.

OPTIONAL: We also organize a painting workshop with an expert painter at the lakeview restaurant. The paintings produced will be given as souvenirs to participants”
