Be Aware of Popular Scams

Research the place you’re visiting to see what the local scammers are up to. Scams range from RFID scanners to ploys using children to play on your sympathy. You’ll be less likely to fall for these scams if you’ve heard about them ahead of time.

Airport Check-in

Accordingly ensure you reach the Airport at least 2 or 3 hours before the scheduled departure of the Aeroplane. This will give you time to check in and collect your boarding pass, check in your baggage, go through the security screening and be at the departure gate in time for your flight.

Traveling with Kids

Do sufficient research about the place that you are going to visit. If you’re unfamiliar with the mother tongue of that place, then make sure that you carry a picture of all the important places and items as a reference. Also, different countries have different protocols for kids entering their state which you must be aware of.

Special Assistance

Attention! Individual carriers and airports independently determine the time when they should be informed about the need for special assistance. For example, some airports ask for contact at least 72 hours before the flight, and others – 48 hours before the flight. It’s also worth checking the range of a special assistance service offered by a given carrier.

Baggage Information

Before you begin packing, take a peek at your airline’s website and read its baggage policy. This is something you might even want to do prior to buying your plane ticket, especially if you’re set on bringing a checked bag or two. Consider flying on Southwest or JetBlue, both of which permit at least one free checked bag on domestic flights.
